
Awake & Intentional, my 21 Day Meditation Program, starts tomorrow morning and I am beyond excited to witness the transformation and ah-has the group experiences in the three weeks we spend together.

I want to address some frequently asked questions that might answer some of your own.
Q: How is A&I delivered?
A: It is hosted in two ways:
-Daily meditations are uploaded to our private group on Facebook for current members of the program.
-Each Wednesday for three weeks you have the opportunity to attend a live meditation zoom meeting with me and your fellow program members.
Q: What is the time commitment for this program?
A: You will commit to approximately 15-20 minutes of meditation each morning for 21 days. You are also invited to a live zoom call with me for the next 3 Wednesdays at 8pm EST to meditate and ask any questions or share your experiences with myself and your fellow program members. These sessions last around one hour depending on the discussion after meditation and are highly recommended but optional.
Q: Why should I pay for this meditation course when I can use free apps for this?
A: This is a big question and I am happy to answer it because it comes up a lot for wellness practitioners.
For a variety of reasons:
-Money is an energetic currency and when it is exchanged for something we find meaningful it creates a commitment, accountability, and motivation to go deeper and appreciate the process much more.
-For your own personal reasons you resonate with my message, my values, and trust my perspective and you are interested in my help to go deeper into your meditation practice.
-This is a comprehensive program that will take you from where you are on day 1 to a whole new perspective on day 21. And it’s my sincere hope after witnessing that in yourself you will continue your own practice beyond that.
-You want to create a focus for a set period of time that connects your body, mind, and spirit as a whole and you are interested in learning this from me, an expert in nutrition and the body, a seasoned meditator with a gift for writing and communicating, who infuses the gift of Reiki energy into each meditation to enhance your experience.
-When we invest an amount that we deem somewhat significant in a program like this we are more likely to see it through to completion. In my experience, self-improvement journeys often need that spark of accountability baked into them in order to be fulfilled. Will power alone is not recommended here.
-I have put an immense amount of time, energy, creativity, knowledge, experience, and love into the process of creating this program to share with you and this is the work of my heart as well as my career.
-Lastly, if you find free apps are creating transformational results for you, keep you committed to your daily practice, and you don’t find yourself wasting time searching for the right practice to use each morning then it sounds like that approach is your current sweet spot.
Q: What if I miss a day?
A: What you do here is a personal preference. While I suggest you try your hardest to commit to each day stuff can happen.
If this happens it would be up to you to decide the best course of action. Some people would try to catch up in a variety of ways and some would make the decision that that is too overwhelming and just move on to the current material. No matter what you choose I would recommend making sure you stay in real-time with the group in order to experience collectiveness and be able to share your experiences and read the experiences of others while you are in the same boat via the Facebook community.
Q: Can I buy the program without having to be part of the group experience?
A: Currently I am only facilitating it in real-time to create more accountability, access to me, and to give members the powerful experience of participating in a group that is moving in the same direction at the same time they are.
If you are only interested in going it alone I might consider that in the future if enough people contact me and I can get an idea of the interest in a self-study version. So if that’s something you’d prefer please tell me and I will consider it and let you know.
Q: What is Reiki and how can it be delivered via recorded meditation?
Reiki is a Japanese energy work technique where the practitioner, through meditation, channels life energy on behalf of the client to help them promote stress relief and relaxation in their body. Reiki is facilitated through the meditation and intention of the practitioner and the openness of the client to receive this energy. It can be delivered through a series of hand placements physically on the client’s body or through distance Reiki where the practitioner connects with the energy of Reiki, uses symbols, and relays this energy to the client. As a level 2 Reiki practitioner I am initiated and attuned to practice self-Reiki, in person Reiki, and distance Reiki which is the type of Reiki I practice while recording each of the meditations in the program. Reiki and meditation complement each other wonderfully.
In each meditation I have channeled a place for Reiki for either the entire duration where I have done so from the very beginning or in a space of quiet mediation within the recording where I have sat channeling Reiki in that space. In each recording at the appropriate moment there is the reminder to set your own intention to receive and be open to this energy as Reiki energy is very gentle and will not flow where it isn’t welcomed.
In the live zoom meditation nights there is a space within our practice where I will be channeling that energy in real-time.
Q: If it starts tomorrow why are you closing registration tonight at 8pm EST?
A: In order for you to start this in the right frame of mind you need to be registered, receive the materials and instructions, read them, prepare to get up tomorrow morning, create privacy for your practice, and the intention to experience this to its fullest. A last minute rush of all these things will not be conducive to a good start to the program thus the enrolment link will expire at the deadline.
Q: Do I have to do my meditations in the morning?
A: I highly recommend this for many reasons:
-Establishing a positive intention that can flow into the rest of your day.
-I designed the program as one you’re waking up to each day hence the name of it 😉
-It’s a chance to experience the magic of the early morning.
-An exception to the morning recommendation is if you miss one and decide to catch up you would be doing it later in the day.
