New Horizons

I’ve been reminiscing lately about when I launched my online program for burned out teacher moms, The Crashproof Teacher Method.  It was 2020!

Can you believe how far we’ve come from 2020?!  It’s as though we’ve all lived a million lifetimes and learned a million lessons, isn’t it?

Since then the landscape of education in Canada has changed so much, children have grown and entered new phases, people have pivoted in how they work, there has been so much expedited change across the globe.

My local school board doesn’t even have real snow days anymore they just go online.  Who expected that to ever happen?  Boourns!

What hasn’t changed is that educators and moms need lots of support to make sure that they’re taking care of themselves.

And after I decided to focus on helping teacher moms in my holistic nutrition practice three years ago and heard their stories, challenges, and triumphs my mission to help teacher moms has only strengthened.

I believe that our society is only as healthy as the people who are helping influence the next generation.  And I have enormous gratitude for what you educators do while also raising your own kids.

Supporting you to overcome your anxiety, overwhelm, and exhaustion has the biggest ripple effect I can imagine for this world.   I don’t want to put pressure on you about how much you as a teacher and a parent mean to all of us but it’s big.  So we need you to be happy, healthy, energetic, and enjoying life!

I have some exciting news I am going to be announcing about a new way I have decided to be of service to you all but before I do that I really need to share a story I haven’t shared before with this community about my own health evolution and the very first catalyst that began it.

In the past I’ve shared part of my story with you (reminder: it involves burnout, new parenthood, the death of a parent, and my educator spouse that was burning out right alongside me) but there is another part of that story that I consider even more personal believe it or not that I would like to share with you because I feel particularly called to let you in on it at this time.

I am going to get into that story in the next post because it’s too important to me to cram it at the end of this one.

There is one order of business before I share the story…if you are interested in hearing about what I have coming up and the backstory as soon as I post about it then send me an email at stephanie@stephanieburns.ca and ask to be added to my mailing list. It is the first place you will hear from me.

Until next time…

Always holding space for you,

Stephanie
