
Have you ever heard someone say:
“I know, I know I should really start meditating regularly. They say it helps a lot”
Who is “they”?
They seem to be everywhere. Therapists, yoga instructors, your school board, celebrities, Deepak Chopra, the people you follow on social media, your cat…and me.
Eek, I’ve become a they! I’m so sorry.
I am not just here to tell you to try meditating for the zillionth time. I am actually here to make sure you establish a practice that sticks and also opens the door to your next undertaking…your physical and mental health and wellness.
Every single client I have worked with has been told to meditate by me and others.
Going within is non-negotiable to personal transformation.
In my program where I help teachers with their burnout symptoms, The Crashproof Teacher Method, there is a section on meditation because it’s a must when creating more energy and minimizing anxiety and overwhelm.
As I’ve worked with more and more clients over the years I have identified a very simple yet important need and that is discovering the true power of meditation by establishing a real practice that helps you befriend and get to know and love your body, create harmony in your mind and thoughts, and connect to something bigger than yourself.
Until those things are in place anything you try to achieve in your life is going to be an uphill battle.
I think as much as meditation is touted to people as “the key”, most people just don’t really believe that. We are looking for the next exciting fix all the time – we are shown shiny objects all day long. And meditation actually sounds too easy in a way. We are often drawn to complicated protocols when our deepest needs are more simple than that.
How could sitting in quiet calm each day move the mountains some claim it can?
Because it creates space in you for new ideas, new guidance, and a connection to you.
Ultimately, if you strip away all the outside influences that tell you who you are supposed to be, how you’re supposed to feel, and what you should want then you are left with your own inner knowing. And, guess what, that’s where you find peace. The only person that can truly design peace for you is YOU.
This is the part, after telling you to listen to YOU, where I tell you that I have a new 21 day meditation program. The irony, eh? I know, it’s not lost on me and I will always be the first one to point that kind of thing out.
I am following my own knowing these days which is telling me that I need to share my love and affinity for meditation with you. I want to help you walk a new path that is all yours.
I want to see you wake up to your own wisdom, ideas, and live a more inspired life and the way I do that is to hold the space for you to heal the part of you that might be feeling stuck and lost right now and realize what it is you really want.
My new program, Awake & Intentional is a 21 Day program where you will:
-Meditate daily from May 1-May 21st. Each day’s meditation will build on the last one, elevating you further on your path each day. The format of each meditation is guided visualization on the central theme for that day followed by a period of quiet, infused with Reiki energy for added enhancement to each session.
-You will attend group meditation classes each Wednesday of the program at 8pm EST giving you the opportunity to experience what it’s like to meditate in group energy, share and hear from others in the group, and also receive distance Reiki during the meditation.
-You will be part of a community for the 21 days to share insight, receive guidance, and know that you are part of a collective energy working toward the same goal – to establish your practice, create body-mind-spirit harmony, and access and follow your own knowing.
For years I have used meditation to connect with my true self and I continue to learn more and open up each day with the help of my practice. I have had the honour since 2019 to be able to facilitate group sessions where I have seen so much transformation occur just by holding this space for people.
I am so excited to share this with you in a daily, immersive format that will help you plant the seeds of change you need to achieve what it is that you want to bring forward in your precious life.
